When I made my first steps on that late September afternoon, I had no idea not only how important tango will become for me, but how much it will teach me about life.

Every day I spend a lot of time thinking about tango, how it relates to everything else, and how it can help me become a better, happier person. I want to write down these thoughts for several reasons: to remember them, to have a snapshot, so to speak, of what I felt and thought at a certain point in time, to talk about them with other people… there are a lot of reasons actually, but, well, to boil it all down, it simply feels like the right thing to do – and tango is, among other things, about following your feelings.

So, my goal is to write one post on this blog every day. It might be a quick observation in two sentences or several pages about a certain topic, but it will happen once a day, until I feel that this should change. We’ll see how it goes.

The blog is still young, so I can’t really say what’s the best way to read it other than starting from the beginning. You can also pick a random post, as most are connected to a previous one in a sort of thought-chain. I’ll add some categories and/or guidelines as the blog develops and the need arises.

Feel free to comment, discuss, praise, criticize, ask questions or do whatever feels right. If you don’t want to make your thoughts public, you can also write to me at relja dot dereta at gee-mail dot com
